This award-winning screen material has made the Elite Screens Sable Frame B2 one of the most popular choices for projector screens in its category. Featuring a 1.15 gain classification, CineWhite is popular for its ability to brighten colors, deepen contrast, and sharpen images on the screen. There is also a CineWhite UHD-B version that features a higher gain classification (1.3 gain) and is world-renowned for its accurate color depiction and image fidelity.

Diffusion uniformity and black backing

Another great thing about the Elite Screens Sable Frame B2 is its ability to distribute light evenly over the screen, courtesy of diffusion uniformity. To top it all off, this screen also has a fully black backing that helps eliminate light penetration, further improving overall picture clarity.

Supports 4K Ultra HD, HDR, and Active 3D

Videophiles are always looking for ways to improve their viewing quality. This is why having a projector screen that supports multiple video formats is essential. The Elite Screens Sable Frame B2 supports 4K and 8K UHD, and HDR and Active 3D videos.

The Elite Screens Sable Frame B2 luckily supports short-throw, ultra-short-throw, and standard-throw projectors, so you can place your projector much closer to your screen.

What we don’t like

Hard to assemble

Although Elite Screens sends you everything you need to assemble the Sable Frame B2 yourself, the entire process is not a one-man job. There are several steps that can be confusing to someone who doesn’t know their way around tools.

To avoid getting things wrong, it would be wise to get someone to lend you a hand during the process. Or consider hiring a professional to take care of the assembly and installation for you.

Once you’ve successfully assembled the Elite Screens Sable Frame B2, you may proceed with the installation. For this process, you’ll need to gather the wall brackets, anchors, and wood screws. After which, you need to do the following steps:

Step 1

Take measurements of the length and height of your Sable Frame B2 frame and drill bracket holes on the installation location. Once done, take your brackets and align them with the holes you’ve just made on the wall. Screw in the brackets using the Philips screw that comes in the package.

Step 2

Now, measure the distance between the bottom and top levels of the Elite Screens Sable Frame B2 frame. Mark the drill holes and do the same steps as you did in Step 1.

Note: Make sure that the brackets are turned to the opposite side, so they’re facing the top brackets, mirroring them.

Step 3

Position the frames so that they’re aligned with the brackets you just finished installing. Do the top part first, making sure the frames are secured on the brackets.

Step 4

Push down the bottom part to secure the frame to the bottom brackets. When all sides are done, you can then step back and admire your handy work.
